The nursery at 2238 73rd Ave., Oakland was run by Shinoda from 1911-1928. Nakano was also listed as proprietor beginning in 1925. Ataru Nakano and his family ran the nursery at 2238 73rd Ave., Oakland from 1925 through at least 1930. By 1938 they relocated to 897 75th Ave., Oakland.
