Wada Nursery

The Wada Nursery was started by Shukichi and Sawato Wada in San Leandro in 1910. Eventually Henry Wada and his wife Fumiko took over the nursery. Fumiko’s sister, Yuriko Yokota, and her husband Masao Yokota operated the M. Yokota Nursery next door. The Yokota’s expanded their nursery by buying the Wada Nursery in 1989.
